Havre Police Department

An officer issued a summons to Steven Paul Evans of Havre, 56, on charges of failing to give notice of an accident, failure to remain at the scene of an accident and following too closely after a caller reported at 11:24 a.m. Friday a hit and run by a red pickup truck that then headed south on 5th Avenue.

Officers searched for but were unable to locate a German shepherd-pit bull mixed breed dog a caller at 2:40 p.m. Friday from a 2nd Street residence reported running around.

Officers issued a summons to Chalon Michael Kinholt of Havre, 32, on two counts of criminal comtempt and charges of obscene phone calls-privacy in communication and stalking after a caller who said a temporary restraining order was in place reported at 3:27 p.m. Friday that he was calling her. Officers then arrested Kinholt at 3:58 p.m. Sunday when the caller reported he was banging on her door, charging him with two counts of criminal contempt and with criminal trespass to property.

An officer investigating a 3:49 p.m. Friday crash on 7th avenue between a pickup truck and a school bus arrested Richard Sebastian Kelm of Havre, 21, on charges of obstructing a peace officer or public servant and driving without insurance.

An officer responding to a 4:39 p.m. Friday report of shoplifters at a business on the 700 Block of 1st Street arrested Keesha Marillouise Weasel of Fort Belknap, 19, an a charge of theft by shoplifting.

An officer investigated a report at 6:35 p.m. from a 9th Avenue residence that someone had entered the home and a bathroom window was broken and change jars missing.

An officer rendered services at 7:40 p.m. Friday on Main Street when an Amtrak represented reported a passenger needed to be removed because the passenger was smoking when asked not to and was “acting up with agents.”

An officer investigated a report of a no-show of a participant in the 24/7 Sobriety Program at 8:05 Saturday morning.

An officer investigated a two-vehicle noninjury accident reported at 12:39 p.m. Saturday from 12th Street.

An officer investigated a report made at 1:42 p.m. Saturday from Grant Avenue that a mailbox had been knocked over Friday night.

An officer investigated a hit-and-run caught on camera at a 1st Street West establishment reported at 3:14 p.m. Saturday.

An officer investigating a car crash with a vehicle reported at 10:20 p.m. Saturday from Park Road to be on its sie with air bags deployed and a mailbox knocked into the middle of the street arrested a 15-year-old Havre boy on charges of failure to give notice of an accident, failure to remain at the scene of an accident, driving without a driver’s license, driving without wearing a seat belt, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal contempt.

An officer investigating a report at midnight Sunday of a man banking on a door at a Lincoln Avenue residence arrested Elijah Blu Eagleman of Havre, 27, on a charge of disorderly conduct and two counts of criminal contempt.

An officer investigating a report made at 6:25 a.m. Sunday from a Wilson Avenue residence that a man was beating on the caller’s door arrested Timoty William Mahns of Havre, 43, on a charge of trespassing and driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Chalon Michael Kinholt, 32, of Havre was arrested Sunday at 3:58 p.m. on charges of criminal contempt and trespassing.

An officer responding to a report of trespassing made at 7:52 p.m. Sunday from a 2nd Street Northeast residence arrested Michael Troy Morsette of Rocky Boy, 40, on a Justice or City court warrant.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy investigated a report at 9:01 a.m. Friday from Rudyard of a window being broken out.

A deputy investigated a report at 12:53 p.m. Sunday of a disturbance on the 8300 Block of 405 South Road.

Montana Highway Patrol

A Montana Highway Patrol trooper, Hill County sheriff’s deputy and emergency medical technicians responded to a head-on collision at “Bum’s Jungle Road,” a private access road in North Havre, between a a 1993 Dodge Caravan and a 2001 Terex crane at 8 Friday morning. Highway Patrol reports the minivan, driven by China Bohn, 18, was driving too fast for the snow-packed conditions on the road and slid into the front of the crane, driven by Charles Otto, 33, who was not injured. Bohn was taken to the hospital, treated and released.

Havre Fire Department

Havre Fire Department emergency medical technicians responded to seven calls Friday, two calls Saturday and two calls Sunday.

Births

A boy was born Nov. 12, 2014, to Julia Mills and Jimmy R. Stiffarm of Harlem.

A boy was born Nov. 13, 2014, to Tia St. Marks of Malta.
