Havre Police Department

An officer investigated an 8:09 a.m. Thursday report that a red Chevrolet Avalanche slid off of 13th Street on Hospital Hill but the vehicle apparently was able to get back on the road.

An officer investigated a report of trespassing made at 10:01 a.m. Thursday from a 1st Street Northeast apartment complex but was unable to locate the suspect.

After a person came to the police department at 10:42 a.m. Thursday and made a complaint about a person violating a protection order, an officer issued a summons to Chalon Michael Kinholt, 32, of Havre on two counts of criminal contempt.

After a caller from 13th Street West at 10:05 p.m. Thursday complained about loud noise coming from a party, an officer arrested Joey Ray Azure, 20, of Havre on a charge of minor in possession of intoxicants and on a Justice or City court warrant.

After a complaint was made at 11:21 p.m. Thursday from a 1st Street establishment, an officer arrested Jeffrey Scott Lipp, 47, of Havre on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy at 3:54 p.m. Thursday at Hill County Justice Court arrested Priscilla Rae Strike, 27, of Havre on a Justice Court warrant.

A deputy investigated a report made at 4:10 p.m. Thursday from a business on the 1200 Block of U.S. Highway 87 that someone had vandalized two tractors.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Thursday and one this morning.

Firefighters responded to a 11:43 a.m. call from the 1600 Block of U.S. Highway 2 Northwest reporting a strong smell of smoke. The odor was due to a malfunctioning furnace.
