Ponies win close ones

Last month, the Havre High girls basketball team swept the Lewistown Golden Eagles and Rocky Boy Morning Stars in pretty convincing fashion. And the Blue Ponies did the same this weekend. But, the sweep was much more difficult to come by.

On Friday night, Havre captured a crucial Central A win in Lewistown, as the Ponies beat the Eagles 42-38 to improve to 7-0 in the Central A and remain one game ahead of Browning heading into the final week of the regular season.
