Alma was born Jan. 27, 1928, the last of the children born on the family farm south of Kremlin to Christ and Leona (Kramlich) Gomke. She was raised on the farm, graduating from Kremlin High School in 1946 as valedictorian. After graduation, she moved to Havre, and began working at FA Buttrey, where she remained for three years. Every morning, Alma would eat breakfast at the Coffee Cup diner next to the store, and that is where she met her future husband who worked at the diner. On June 26,1948, Alma married Harry F. Klobofski at First Lutheran Church in Havre, and the couple remained in Havre, raising their four children there. While Harry worked outside the home, Alma was busy caring for their home and their children. Harry passed away Aug. 10, 1999.

Alma enjoyed gardening, both flowers and vegetables, caring for her yard and baking, and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Harry Klobofski; her parents, Christ and Leona Gomke; her sisters, Ann Beatty, Fran Bitz, Eleanora "Red" Larson and Irene Schwartz; and her brother Mel Gomke.

Alma is survived by her beloved sons, Denis (Linda) Klobofski of Havre, John (Jackie) Klobofski of Great Falls and Steve (Mary Lou) Klobofski and David (Seth Vickers) Klobofski, all of Havre; her "fifth son" Mark (Darren Smith) Vant'Hul of Havre; her six grandchildren; her seven great-grandchildren; her brother Don Gomke of Kremlin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
