Hi-Line Boys Roundup: Stars roll; T-Birds beat Bears in round one

As the season gets later, the games get more important and this past weekend, Box Elder and Hays-Lodge Pole played probably the most important regular season game so far in the District 9C.

The Bears, who have won the district the past four years, and who have dominated the series with HLP in recent years, hosted the Thunderbirds in Box Elder Saturday night. And in a game that lived up to the hype, it was the T-Birds that walked away victorious, 70-64.

The game between the 9C powers was close throughout, as the score was tied at the end of the first quarter, 17-17 and HLP led 35-34 at halftime...
