Larsen promoted at Independence Bank

Independence Bank has announced that Meagan Larsen has been promoted to assistant compliance officer.

“We are very pleased to see Meagan move into this new phase of her career,” said Denise Ladenburg, vice president of compliance. “Her background, education and training have made her a great addition to our compliance team and we look forward to her continued growth in this new positon.”

A Havre native, Meagan graduated from Havre High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis on marketing and management from the University of Montana.

She resides in Havre and said she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Larsen has been with Indepe-ndence Bank since 2014. Prior to her promotion, Larsen served as a compliance assistant. In 2016, she received her ICBA certified compliance officer designation.

In her new position, Larsen will perform all types of compliance audits. She will also aid in monitoring new regulations and assisting with procedural development.
