North Central Senior Citizens Center, Sept. 4-8

Monday — Holiday

Tuesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; bingo at 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m; TOPS at 8 a.m.; cards at 1 p.m.

Thursday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; cards at 1 p.m.; Kmart/Walmart trip from 1 to 4 p.m.

Friday — Medical transportation will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. but people must make a request at least 24 hours in advance.

Pinochle — First place, Lois Zinn; second place, Bev Haugen; third place, Harold Anderson; Pinochle – Lois Zinn; 1,500, Bev Haugen

Friday — Soup, salad bar, chef’s choice, dessert

A great big thank-you goes out to Gildford Colony, Stu McIntosh, Teri Magelssen and Ginnie Renolds for all the beautiful vegetables we, at the Center, have been enjoying this summer.

If Commodities could help, you are 60 years of age, and if you meet the income requirements we now have slots available. Call the center or come down to pick up an application.

Flu Shots: At Senior Center Tuesday, Sept. 19, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Montana AAA Legal Services will be holding a Legal Document Clinic for seniors Thursday, Oct. 19. It will be held at Fifth Avenue Christian Church, 2015 5th Ave, in Havre. Trained legal professionals will be there to assist participants with different kinds of documents such as Living Wills, Power of Attorneys, Indian Wills and many others.

The program does have income and age requirements. Space is limited and appointments must made in advance of the clinic. Anyone with questions or to register, contact John McCrea, Legal Service Developer at 406-444-7783 or 1-800-332-2272.
