This past weekend was a big one for the Montana State University-Northern rodeo team. Not just because the Lights and Skylights were competing in a Big Sky Region rodeo, but, because that rodeo was in Havre.

It had been some time since Northern had held a collegiate rodeo, but, it returned with a bang last weekend as the MSU-Northern Rodeo took to the Bigger Better Barn in Havre on Friday and Saturday night.

As for how the teams fared, the Lights finished seventh with 80 points in a tough field of teams which included Montana State and the University of Montana. The Skylights scored 130 points to finish third.
