Hello God. It's me, Mara

You know, Lord, friends were planning their dream vacation. They showed brochures and flyers for some breathtaking and astonishing places they wished to visit, some even out of the USA! They were busy checking and planning their schedules, choosing a date and then the next step for them was going to purchase the tickets. They had fascinating plans.

Although some of us might not have plans for a dream vacation here on earth, we most certainly have something wonderful to look forward to, even greater than our friends’ plans; that is if we believe in You, Lord.

When stress, concerns and worry get unbearable, we need only to pick up our own personal brochure (the Holy Bible) and turn to Revelations 21 and 22. If our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, our tickets are already bought and paid for. Departure time could be any time, with no thought of returning, as this is no two-week vacation; we will enjoy it forever!

Looking through our “brochure,” it’s hard to envision a city 1,500 miles in length, width and height with streets of pure gold, streets like transparent glass, just imagine! There will be ample time to sight-see; and how about this, there will be no night! If we thirst, a drink at the spring of the water of life is without cost. The river of water of life is clear as crystal. … We cannot even begin to envision what we will see or hear or taste or be! But the best part: We shall see You, Jesus, face to face (Rev. 22:40).

If we are in tribulation, we need to try You, Lord God. The road isn’t easy but the retirement plan is out of this world! Rev. 22:20 “He who testifies to these things says, yes, I am coming quickly.”

Amen! Come, Lord Jesus.
