Class of 2019 Senior Parent-Student meeting, 7 p.m., Havre High Library, to discuss plans for senior activities during graduation weekend.

MSU-Northern Sweetgrass Society fundraiser, all day, Pizza Hut. Just mention the club when calling in or paying for an order and 20 percent of the purchase price will go to the club.

Friends of the Library meeting, noon, Havre-Hill County Library meeting room. New members are welcome.

Lego Time and Robotics, 3:30 - 5 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Free and open to the public. For info, call 265-2123.

Friday, March 22

"The 39 Steps," a dinner theater production from Montana Actors' Theatre, 6:30 p.m. dinner, 8 p.m. show, Chinook Eagles Club. Tickets are $30 each or $300 for a reserved table for eight.

"Fantastic Mr. Fox," a Montana Actor's Theatre production, 8 p.m., MSU-Northern's Little Theatre. Doors and Backstage Lounge open at 7:30 p.m. for this family adventure tale based on the Roald Dahl book.

Knights of Columbus Fish Fry, 5 - 7 p.m., St. Jude Parish Center. This is a fundraiser to help pay for windows for St. Jude Catholic School. Cost is a free-will donation.

Local legislative teleconference with state legislators, noon, Conference Room 1 on the first floor of Northern Montana Hospital.

Saturday, March 23

Hi-Line Winter Brew Fest, a benefit for Bear Paw Ski Bowl, 4 - 9 p.m., Havre Ice Dome, 2585 5th Ave.

Early Response Training, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Van Orsdel United Methodist Church. Training for anyone 18 and older who wants to serve in disaster relief providing a Christian presence.

Games Galore Night, 5 - 10 p.m., HRDC building, 2229 5th Ave. This family event will have games and prizes, along with pizza, for a free-will donation. A laser tag course will also be set up for $8 for 10 minutes of play.

Spring Fling Family Carnival, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., Holiday Village Mall. The event will have games and activities for kids age 1-8 and offer enrollment in Imagination Library and sponsorship opportunities for Plant a Seed...READ!

Monday, March 25

AARP tax-aid free tax preparation, for low to moderate taxpayers of all ages, North Central Senior Center. People need to call for an appointment, bring their Social Security card, all tax forms and last year's tax return. Call 265-5464.

Tuesday, March 26

"I Do: A Cultural History of Montana Weddings," with speaker Martha Kohl, 3:30 p.m. MSU-Northern Cowan Hall 319. Kohl's presentation from her book with the same title, explores how the ritual of wedding is influenced by personal vision and larger cultural forces. This Women's History Month event is free and open to everyone.

"Kumamoto: Your Sister State," with Ian Marquand, 7 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library.

Former television journalist Ian Marquand, Honorary Consul of Japan for Montana, will share images and stories of the Montana-Kumamoto relationship. The event is open to everyone and free of charge.

Bullhook Blossoms meeting, 2 p.m., Timmons Room, Hill County Courthouse, with naturalist Liz Larcon speaking on birds. Guests are always welcome. For info call 265-2133.

Dungeons and Dragons with Game Master Paul Verity, 5th ed., 6 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Character sheet assistance available at the children's desk, but bring a pencil and dice. Free and open to the public.

Wednesday, March 27

Sex in the Dark, 8 p.m., MSU-Northern Little Theatre. This event will provide info on healthy relationships and consent, provide medically accurate information and be a safe place to ask questions.

Books and Babies, 10:15 a.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Free and public is welcome.

Story Time, 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Free and public is welcome.

Thursday, March 28

Havre High School Close Up fundraiser, all day, Pizza Hut. Money raised will help send members to Washington and New York in June. Just mention the club when calling in or paying for an order and 20 percent of the purchase price will go to the fundraiser.

Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Vendor Show, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., HRDC building, 2229 5th Ave. Vendors will be selling a variety of products and each booth will have information on MS. Speakers will talk to people about the disease occasionally through the day.

Sunday, March 31

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.

HPS Education Foundation hosting the annual HOLIDAY HOOPS Blue Pony alumni basketball games on Friday December 27th at the Havre Middle School. First game at 6:30pm. Players contact Tony at 390-6178 or Grayson at Master Sports. Fun for the whole family!
