Obituary - Robert Henry Stump III

Robert Henry Stump III, age 32, passed away at home on Friday, April 5, 2019.

A wake was held Friday, April 5, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. and continued until his funeral Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Rocky Boy.

Holland and Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Robert was born July 13, 1986, in Havre to Teddy Hines and Denise Stump. He was adopted and raised by his grandparents, Robert and Louise Stump in Rocky Boy and attended school there.

As a child, Robert had a gift for art and was able to draw almost anything. He was a self-taught artist using calligraphy and creating scenic pieces with animals and sports themes. He sold his works all over Montana.

Robert played Keno and card games and thoroughly enjoyed a game of cribbage. Other hobbies of his included hunting, fishing and running. He was a kind and caring person who helped others when they needed it. Family was important to Robert, and he was often known to tease his nieces and nephews. On May 9, 2007, his son, Anthony Hill, was born and he was the light of his life.

Robert was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Stump; father, Teddy Hines; and cousins Yancey Charette and Kristie Dawn St. Pierre.

He is survived by his grandfather, Robert Stump; son, Anthony Hill; sisters, Senica Morsette, Louisa (Marcus StandingRock Sr.) Stump and Nicole (Tommy Sutherland) Mariani; brothers, Curtis (Janiece Maloney) Stump, Coby (Leah) Stump, and Kory Hines; aunts, Mamie (Teddy) Montes, Shannon (Byron Swan) Stump, Toni (David Saboe) Stump, Ramona (Clint Howell) Stump and Monica (Harvey) Campbell; uncles, Robert Stump Jr. and Sam (Colelynn) Stump, and numerous, nieces, nephews and many friends.
