Lights nearly come all the way back against Southern Oregon on senior day

If Saturday's senior day game against the Southern Oregon Raiders was the last game the Montana State University-Northern football team plays at Blue Pony Stadium, then, there's no questioning, the Lights left their hearts on that fabled turf.

In an exciting finish, the Lights came up short, 27-19 against the Raiders in their home finale. The loss dropped Northern to 0-9 in the Frontier Conference, but for a time, it looked like the Lights were on the verge of getting their first conference win since 2016.
