Northern gets plenty of mat time in Great Falls

The Montana State University-Northern wrestling team got plenty of mat time last weekend in Great Falls.

Last Friday, the Lights had three duals in the annual Argo Duals, before taking part in the tough Battle of the Rockies Saturday.

In the tournament Saturday, Northern crowned a pair of champions in Rob Pair and Chase Short, while overall, the Lights sent grapplers to the podium.

Pair, the senior 125-pounder for the Lights, reached the final before getting injury default over Dawson Barfuss of Northwest College.
