A local golfer tees off on the third hole at Beaver Creek Golf Course on a sunny Monday afternoon. Men's league at Beaver Creek, as well as men's and women's leagues at Prairie Farms, are set to begin next week.
Normally, league golf starts in April, but the COVID-19 pandemic has had plenty to say about a lot of things starting late, or not starting at all, including the sport of golf.
But as Montana continues to carefully re-open under Phase I of Gov. Steve Bullock's plan, the sport of golf has been a very safe outlet, and now, our two local courses are moving forward with their annual golf leagues.
Both Prairie Farms and Beaver Creek Golf Course will begin golf leagues next week. Prairie Farms men's league will begin next Tuesday and Wednesday, and spots are still available on both nights if anyone...
