Hi-Line track loaded with talented teams this spring

Annual Cal Wearley postponed to a later date

Big Sandy's Kade Strutz runs in the 2019 Cal Wearley Invitational. After the 2020 spring sports season was canceled, track and field returns to the Hi-Line this spring, though today's Cal Wearley Invite at the Havre Middle School Track has been postponed according to North Star head coach Brian Campbell.

Havre High is not the only school getting track and field back after a missed year due to COVID-19. Teams across the Hi-Line from Harlem, Rocky Boy and the District 9C will return for track and field, so everyone should be excited.

"It is fantastic to be back out on the track," North Star head coach Brian Campbell said. "Track and field in the Northern C is just unlike anything else, tough competition and intense battles for the top spots. It should be a great season."
