New mural going up near First Street

Hi-Line Arts Council and Downtown Havre Matters! Arts and Beautification Committee are brining in a Havre High School graduate now living in California, Madison Ruff, to paint a mural on the wall.

Hi-Line Arts Council and the Downtown Havre Matters! Arts and Beautification Committee, with the help of funding from the Hill County Community Foundation, is having a new mural put up in town on the back of the Elks Lodge building.

Community Foundation Executive Director Pam Veis said Arts Council Member Dave Martens is the one who's making the project happen, but Martens said the idea of putting a mural there has been floating around the organizations for a while, he just happened to know someone who could do it.

I hope the Graffiti clowns dont hit any of them...glad to hear thet Havre wants a little sprucing up :) Next good news would be fixing all the roads in town...All of them need it...thnx
