A runner competes in the 2nd Annual Bear Paw Marathon Saturday south of Havre. The event featured a marathon, a half marathon and a 5K run.

For the second straight year, the Bear Paw Marathon was worth the wait.

Saturday, 264 runners competed in three different races during the 2nd Annual Bear Paw Marathon. The event featured a full marathon, a half marathon and a 5K race, which was open to males and females of all ages.

The full marathon started at scenic Sucker Creek Road and wound 26.2 miles until it wound up at the official finish line at Montana State University-Northern.
