11 to noon: Mary Stevens, harpist and keyboardist, will play lovely music for your wanting ears

8:30-9:30 a.m.: POSTPONED TO LATER DATE Chair Yoga with Bonnie Stevenson. Sit in a chair as Bonnie takes the class through a series of movements that increase your flexibility and enhance your strength. Low key with a big reward!

11 to noon: NEW — Listen to the talented Ilo McKay play your favorite tunes on the piano ivories

9-10:30 a.m. — POSTPONED TO LATER DATE A Walk in the Neighborhood — Starting at Senior Center we will walk through Second and Third avenue historical neighborhoods. Map and discussion of history and architectural styles used in home construction will ensue

Monday, July 25

1-3 p.m.

Cards, cribbage and pinochle game tables for players. Come and play your favorite game with your friends. Meet new friends!

1-3 p.m.: Bingo

Wednesday, July 27

9 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Foot Care Clinic — A Plus Healthcare – Jan Knudson, licensed nurse, will be at the Senior Center to provide medical pedicure & general nail care. Diabetic foot care assessment is provided. Appointments are made by calling A Plus Healthcare 406-265-4776. The cost is $37.00

Wednesday, July 27

11 a.m. to noon: NEW — Music teacher Michael Stevenson will play a variety of music on the piano. Come listen to jazz, pop, classical and more.

Thursday, July 28

9:30-10 a.m.; NEW — Recruiting for volunteers! Come meet Scott Schepp, the new Director of Feed My Sheep Soup Kitchen. He will discuss the direction he is taking with the kitchen and the volunteers needed to make it happen. If you wish to be a part of a “family” in the community, here it is!

10:30-11:45 a.m. — For those who are interested in farming and grain production will be interested in this fascinating story by Holly Barker: “Of the eleven seed banks Vavilov established across the Soviet Union, the main collection in St. Petersburg still stands. IT remains one of the largest repositories of seeds and planted crops anywhere in the world, eighty percent of which cannot be found elsewhere.” Come listen and follow along to A Blight on Soviet Science.
