Montana Western runs past the Lights

The Montana State University-Northern football team is a young program under new head coach Jerome Souers. With this youth will come growing pains, so the Lights will have their struggles this fall. This past Saturday at Tilleman Field, the Lights had another tough outing with a 35-6 loss to Montana Western. Despite the loss, Souers does see the growth in his team.
"Our execution is still a long way from where it needs to be but I'm proud of the improvements that they made and how they continue to work to develop those skills," Souers said. "We just have to be patient."
