Havre Police Department

A three-vehicle crash was reported Tuesday at 12:23 p.m. on the 200 Block of First Street. Havre Fire Department also responded with an engine and ambulance and treated four people on the scene.

A Third Street caller asked Tuesday at 2:18 p.m. to speak with an officer about some lost or found property.

--

A Tuesday 3:49 p.m. caller reported a squatter was living in the caller's house on Third Street.

--

A camper was reported Tuesday at 8:10 p.m. stolen in Havre.

Aliyah Brielle Eagleman of Havre, 23, was arrested on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, no driver's license and traffic crime, and Theresa Kate Small of Havre, 44, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Wednesday at 1:57 a.m.

An arrest was made after officers initiated investigation of suspicious activity on Third Street, but no details on charges were provided.

A caller reported Wednesday at 4:26 p.m. on Montana State University-Northern's Cowan Drive that a window had been broken.

Officers dealt with three reports of 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show reported between 8 and 8:02 p.m. Wednesday.

Four summonses were issued after a caller on Montana Avenue reported a group of children walking at 4:24 a.m. Thursday and officers located the juveniles at 4:47 a.m. on Montana Avenue. No details on charges were provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Stephen Eric Engelhardt of Havre, 41, was arrested on a federal warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 12:41 p.m.

Fabian Joel Saddler Sr. of Box Elder, 47, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and on a Justice or City court warrant after deputies investigated suspicious activity along U.S. Highway 87 in Box Elder Tuesday at 8:22 p.m.

Wednesday at 9:36 p.m., a phone was reported stolen at the fairgrounds.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported Wednesday at 9:51 p.m. at the fairgrounds.

Montana Highway Patrol

Troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash Wednesday at 2:21 p.m. on U.S. Highway 2 on the east side of Chinook near mile marker 404. Trooper Conor Doyle said an elderly man, who was the single occupant of the vehicle, fell asleep traveling westbound on U.S. 2. The vehicle left the road at a small bridge for a drainage area and went into the muddy drainage. Doyle said the driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital as a precaution. The vehicle sustained enough damage to not be drivable.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Tuesday and seven calls Wednesday.

Firefighters responded to a vehicle crash on the 200 Block of First Street Tuesday at 12:25 p.m. and to a good intent call on Beaver Creek Boulevard at 4:51 p.m. Wednesday. Both responses were in conjunction with an ambulance crew.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Thursday morning held one cat of unknown gender, six male cats, two female cats and five kittens 9 weeks to 10 weeks old kittens. Additionally, two 11-week-old kittens were being housed off-site.

The shelter also held three female dogs, four male dogs and 15 puppies from 10 weeks to 11 months old. Additionally, a male dog was being housed off-site.

Births

A boy was born Wednesday, July 19, 2023, to Michelle and Shane Rice of Havre.
