    A benefit dinner and auction will be held to raise funds for a baby who was born with major medical problems that require several surgeries and frequent treatment. Addisyn Davis, born Jan. 3 to Havre residents Tanner and Lindsey Davis, and her mother were airlifted to Seattle immediately after she was born.   • Havre man charged with meth sales

    A Havre man pleaded not guilty in federal court in Great Falls to charges he conspired to sell methamphetamine. Ronald Jay Kemp, 31, was arraigned Feb. 18 on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute meth and possession of meth with intent to distribute, said a press release from the U.S. Attorney for the District of Montana released Sunday.     When patients are admitted to Big Sandy Medical Center or any of the 40-some critical access hospitals in Montana, providers have to assure they will be discharged within 96 hours or four days. If the patient has to stay longer, it can mean the hospital will lose some of its reimbursement. Most of the time, that’s no problem, said Big Sandy Administrator Harry Bold.   • Keto resentenced to treatment on assault charge

    A Havre man was resentenced this week for putting another Havre man in the emergency room, requiring reconstructive surgery. The judge said the sentence will give him a chance to change his life for himself and his family. Kohl Jolen Keto, born in 1993, admitted last week to committing multiple violations of his probation on a deferred imposition of sentence for a felony count of aggravated assault.     Havre City Council member Janet Trethewey has entered the race for a seat in Montana House of Representatives, giving this region its second contested legislative race in the 2014 elections.     It’s coming down to the wire for the Havre Ice Hawks high school hockey team, and they picked up two more wins over the weekend. Havre swept the Flathead Fusion in a pair of games this past weekend in Whitefish, winning 3-2 Saturday and 6-2 Sunday.
