Hill County Health Officer Jessica Sheehy provided details Friday during a Hill County Health Board meeting on testing in Hill County, recent COVID-19 hospitalizations and the state’s recent surge of virus-related deaths. Although a few new COVID-19 cases were reported in Blaine, Chouteau and Hill County in the last few days, no new local cases were reported by local health departments this evening. The Mud Creek Fire in the Missouri River Breaks about 6 miles outside of Fort Belknap Indian Reservation was designated 100 percent contained Saturday night at a little more than 93 acres. Bureau of Land Management Lewistown Duty Officer Don Pyrah said personnel remained on scene to monitor internal fire activity and that burning was still going on, but there was no apparent risk of the fire expanding.
