    Hill County Commission lifted the burn ban in the county Thursday, effective at 12:01 p.m. Hill County Commissioner Mark Peterson said due to the amount of moisture the county has received, the ban isn’t necessary at this time, so the burn ban has been lifted. Blaine County has had a burn ban in effect since July 27 and the commissiones lifted their county’s burn ban Friday.
