    St. Mary's Catholic Church, a historic and sentimental landmark on Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation, was considered a complete loss after flames consumed the structure. The fire started this morning, Rocky Boy Volunteer Fire Department receiving a call at 10:21 a.m., Rocky Boy Fire Chief Calvin Jilot.     Local elementary students received some hands-on economic experience when Sunnyside Intermediate School held its annual Trade Fair Thursday. The Sunnyside Trade Fair was hosted by the fifth-grade class, which showcased a variety of crafts that were all made by class members who used household items for their work.     Snow Dance Ski Association has reopened the Bear Paw Winter Sports Store this year, providing skis, snowboards, equipment and other items for the public. Proceeds from the sports store help fund the volunteer association’s work patrolling at Bear Paw Ski Bowl.   • Hill County Community Foundation awards grants

    Hill County Community Foundation awarded six grants Thursday to nonprofit organizations for the 2019 grant cycle. The grant recipients were CASA of Hill County, the Havre Main Street Group, Stone Child College, North Star Hingham Pool, Shakespeare in the Parks and the Van Orsdel SOS Committee.     BNSF Railway Foundation presented St. Jude Thaddeus School a $10,000 check Thursday, during the school's first through eighth grade Christmas Program, a donation to help the school get its original building back in action.
