    It’s baseball season in Havre. The sun is out, the heat is on, and for many local youths, the next week will be one of the biggest in their young lives. The Havre Youth Baseball Association will conduct three city tournaments over the next week and more, starting this weekend with the HYBA Minor League Tournament.     This past weekend, the Havre Ice Dome played host to the 3rd Annual Hi-Line Hell Freeze Adult Hockey Tournament. The event kicked off Friday night with all teams in action and many fans in attendance. It wrapped up Sunday afternoon with the two championship games. In the end, the Helena Caps took first place in the Speed Division, defeating the Havre River Rats 2- 1 in overtime.     On Monday night while the wind was howling and a cold front moving in the lanes were warming up. Shawn Mariani recorded his sixth 300-game of his career and the third this season at Hi Line Lanes, with the other two belonging to Ryan Mapes.     Kids bowl free. Yes kids may bowl free from June 1 till Aug. 31. All they have to do is come out and pick up a card to register on line and they may bowl two games free everyday that we are open.     The golf season certainly kicked into high gear this past week. That's because the first hole-in-one of the spring has now been recorded. On Wednesday night, during men's league at Prairie Farms, Havre's Ric Floren recorded an ace on the par-3 4th hole. Floren made the shot with a 9-iron from 138 yards out.     For the second straight season, Havre rodeo standout Josh Granell has qualified for the Montana PRCA Circuit Finals.     JOE BOWLER resides in Havre, at least for another year. Michael Mariani Jr. is the name on the birth certificate, but he is known to the rest of the world as "Minnow".
