Anyone listening to the drought-silenced crops?
Some Montanans must feel as if they're crying in the wind.
North-central Montana has the worst drought conditions in the nation, and yet Montana's congressional delegation hasn't been able to convince the rest of Congress that we need disaster relief here.
Too bad the rest of the nation hasn't seen the parched fields that can't produce wheat, or feel the fear and pain of a ranching family as the last of the cattle are hauled away because the family can no longer afford to feed them.
