Judge accepts Barkus case, sets arraignment

Investigators are working to bring back to Montana a former Great Falls middle school teacher's aide accused of abusing an autistic boy by placing his head under water after he dozed off in class. Great Falls Police Sgt. Jeff Newton said Kristina Marie Kallies is believed to be in Texas. An arrest warrant has been issued for her on a felony count of assault on a minor and a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of children.
