Hill County treated anti-trapping people well

Thank you Hill County elections officials for letting us gather signatures in the foyer of Havre High School on Tuesday. We were "blown away" by your hospitality and courtesy as well as by the weather outside! Many trappers came by our table, and we appreciate the courtesy and tolerance you showed to us. I know many of you feel strongly about trapping rights and our initiative. Thank you for listening to our point of view. The economic benefits from increased groundwater and wildlife which the initiative would bring is important to Montana. Most trappers consider trapping recreation. With the initiative they would still be able to trap in most of the state. Tom Gignoux, volunteer Montanans for Trap Free Public Lands Missoula
