Two of the three positions being chosen at Tuesday night's Board of Trustees meeting were filled with new occupants.

The first replacement was the election of the new board chair, Darlene Bricker.

Bricker, who won the most votes of any candidate in the trustee election last week, is replacing Lee Christianson, the board's chair. Christianson replaced Shad Huston a year ago.

Mark Magelssen nominated Bricker for the chair seat for the sake of rotation.

"I think Lee did an excellent job last year, " Magelssen said.
