Class A State Wrestling: HHS marches three into finals; trails by 20 points

Saturday morning saw the HHS wrestling team win three of six semifinal matches, but the Ponies are 20 points behind Laurel, which surged to the lead. The Locomotives are in first with 170 points, Belgrade is second with 154.5 and Havre has 150. Wrestling for state championships later today for the Ponies will be Duell Stadel at 119 pounds, Eli Hinebauch at 145 pounds and Casey Schaub at 171 pounds. Gilbert Bara (112), Dillon Seely (130) and Kameron Pribyl (152) all lost in this morning's semis. The Ponies also went 3-for-5 in the consolation round this morning, meaning Havre will place nine wrestlers overall at this year's state tournament.
