Havre Babe Ruth team takes third in Kalispell

All-Star baseball season is in full swing for Havre Youth Baseball Association teams at all levels. And the Havre Babe Ruth 15U team had a big weekend this past weekend in Kalispell.

Competing in the Kalispell Firecracker Tournament, the Havre squad finished an outstanding third overall. In pool play, Havre tied Conrad 2-2, lost to Glacier 9-1 and Kalispell 15-1.

The Havre squad battled hard in the bracket tournament, beating Calgary 6-1 to advance to within one game of the championship. But that’s where it ended for Havre as the team was defeated by a tough Glacier squad 11-1.

The Havre 15U All-Star team will continue to play a series of games leading up to the 15U State Tournament later this month in Conrad.
