Northern Notebook: Northern finally hits on the big play

There’s no denying the fact that this season has been a struggle of epic proportions for a young Montana State University-Northern offense. But, even in a 72-30 defeat at the hands of Eastern Oregon, that offense showed some promising signs — and really, for the first time all season.

One thing MSU-N had been lacking this season is the presence of the big play. But, Saturday at Blue Pony Stadium, in a crazy second half, the big play came back to life for the Lights.
