Officers investigated a complaint after a Seventh Avenue caller reported Monday at 7:57 a.m. that someone entered their vehicle.

Officers investigated a complaint after a report was made Monday at 8:49 a.m. regarding an illegal bus pass.

Officers investigated a found property complaint after a Third Avenue caller reported Monday at 12:39 p.m. that a 10-speed bicycle was found on the front porch and doesn’t know where it came from.

Officers investigated an identity theft report made Monday at 3:42 p.m. at the police station.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash after a Havre Middle School caller reported Monday at 5:02 p.m. a hit and run incident.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Dani Lee Buffalo of Box Elder, 37, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant today at 1:31 a.m. on Third Street North.

Deputies investigating a juvenile status offense report made this morning at 6:59 a.m. issued a summons, but no further information was provided.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Monday and three today.

Fire crews responded to a call Monday at 6:32 a.m. at the 1100 Block of Buttrey Drive where a motorcycle had caught on fire. Wires under the seat of the bike caught ignited but the fire was mostly out by the time fire crews arrived on the scene. No one was hurt and no further action needed to be taken.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a female Labrador-border collie mix, two female Labrador retrievers, a female Dachshund-Jack Russell terrier, a female German shepherd, a male Labrador-pit bull terrier mix, a Boston terrier and a mixed breed dog.

The animal shelter held this morning three female short-haired cat and one medium-haired cat.
