Great Plains Dinosaur Museum offers dinosaur dig training

The home of the best-preserved dinosaur fossil in the world is offering people some hands-on experience finding and handling fossils.

The Great Plains Dinosaur Museum in Malta is holding a junior paleontology lab, an adult dino dig and a dinosaur paleontology class over the summer,.

The museum is known for the work finding and naming Leonardo, a duck-billed hadrosaur listed by the Guiness Book of World Records as the best-preserved fossil in the world, down to scales on his skin, along with many other discoveries and exhibits. Leonardo is on loan to the Children’...
