The school administration challenged the Havre teams to raise money to buy turkeys to donate for the holidays.
Four Havre High School students, aided by the school athletics director, showed up to the Havre Food Bank, just half an hour before noon Thursday, and unloaded 48 turkeys.
"It's about the kids giving back," Havre High School Athletics Director Murphy said, while en route to the turkey storage area in the Food Bank, a box of turkeys in his arms.
"It's our way of saying thank you to our community for supporting us, we'll support them a little bit during the holiday season," Murphy added.
The donated turkeys were a result of a turkey challenge between various athletic teams, clubs and activities...
