Local News - Havre Trails holding Wolf Creek hike July 29

Havre Trails is inviting people to a hike in the Wolf Creek area of Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation Sunday, July 29.

Registration not required but requested so Havre Trails can ensure enough trailhead parking.

It is a 4.6 mile — 2-3 hour — hike on moderate terrain, an old two-track road, with a fair amount of shade. The overall elevation gain is 850 ft.

The group will meet at 7 a.m. in Montana State University-Northern’s western parking lot below the football practice field and will caravan along U.S. Highway 87 and take Laredo Road out to the trailhead. The trip requires at least 1 hour of dri...
