Local News - Community Pool closed Saturday afternoon, reopens for float night

The program for the Havre Community Pool has been updated for the weekend a bit.

The pool still will be closed Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. for a special pool rental.

However, the pool will open 3 to 5 p.m Saturday for “Family Float” Swim, sponsored by the Lillian Rebekah Lodge.

Admission is free. Root beer floats will be served free of charge and inflatable toys will be in the pool.

The pool will close Friday, Aug. 24, for annual fall maintenance. It will reopen in October, with the exact date to be announced later.
