The Blue Pony Booster Club made a presentation showing its support of Havre High School activities in the 2017-18 school year during the first Blue Pony football game of the 2018-19 year.

Booster Club President Stacy Rismon and Past President Brett Hickman presented Havre Public Schools Superintendent Andy Carlson and Havre High School Principal Ed Norman with a check during halftime in Havre's 24-0 victory over the Hardin Bulldogs.

"Blue Pony Booster Club was originally established as a group of 'Good ol' Boys' wanting to support football," the club said in a press release. "In 1983, the organization leaders decided that a Booster Club should support all activities and students at Havre High School."

The release said that tradition has stayed the same for the past 35 years and continues.

The club fulfilled requests for $17,266 in 2017-18.

The purpose of Blue Pony Booster Club is to assist all athletics, music, the arts and the clubs at Havre High School, the release said. The booster club has fulfilled $146,149.26 worth of requests made by the organizations at Havre High School since 2010.

"Help keep this tradition alive by becoming involved with Blue Pony Booster Club," the release said. "Stop by the concession stands at football games and talk with a board member and see how you can become part of such a great organization."
