Snow blankets trees and the ground Wednesday at Havre Eagles Manor at Third Street and Montana Avenue. Eagles Manor Supervising Site Manager Karen Granger said this morning that Nault Plumbing and Heating is wrapping up a six- to seven-week project today installing new pumps for the heating system at the manor. The heat will be back on today, Granger said.
The Eagles Manor is repairing its boiler and will have it running today, Eagles Manor Supervising Site Manager Karen Granger said this morning.
The manor started working on the heat system to replace its pumps more than six weeks ago, she added.
Granger said the work to replace the pumps was extensive, including having to remove asbestos before other work could be done, removing the old pumps and finding, or having built, pumps to replace the defective units.
A new slab also had to be poured to hold the replacement pumps.
