MDT proposes Highway 2 project near Harlem

HARLEM — The Montana Department of Transportation would like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal to rebuild about 6.9 miles of U.S. Highway 2 west of Harlem in Blaine County.

The project begins at Eight Mile Road at reference post 417.0 and extends east for 6.9 miles, ending near Thirty Mile Road at reference post 424.0.

Proposed work includes earthwork, drainage, surfacing, pavement markings, signing and finishing with a seal and cover — chip seal. The project will include 2 miles of passing lanes with turning lanes.
