Havre police investigating stabbing

A caller on the 600 Block of 14th Avenue reported at 1:30 this morning that a man had been stabbed on his left side.

Officers and an ambulance responded to the residence, and Havre Police Chief Gabe Matosich said the injured man was taken to Northern Montana Hospital.

The extent of his injuries is not known, Matosich added.

The lead investigator had not completed the paperwork, but Matosich said that the injured man said he did not know who stabbed him, and the investigation is ongoing....
