Dog bites lead to zero-tolerance policy on loose dogs

Havre Animal Shelter posted on its Facebook page this morning that, after a child was bitten by dog on the loose in Smithville Wednesday, Havre is taking a zero-tolerance stance for the area due to the number of dogs running at large that are aggressive or vicious.

"All dogs must be on a leash or contained on the owners property," the post says. "All dogs must have city registration tags along with a rabies tag."
