History and crime mix in MAT speakeasy fundraiser

Some historical Havre figures seem to be messing with Havre's acting troupe.

Montana Actors' Theatre posted on Facebook last the end of January that someone had broken into its costumes shop, and legendary cowboy, rodeo-er, lawman and convicted rustler "Long George" Francis was one among the figures who was spotted and is a suspect.

MAT has employed the services of a new flatfoot to help - Slick Ryan's Detective Agency.

The investigation will culminate in Long George's Speakeasy Night, set for Saturday, Feb. 22, from 7 to 10 p.m.
