Havre Police Department

A Second Street caller reported Wednesday at 1:18 p.m. finding glass was broken by front door and a beanie was left on the door step.

Marvin Dale Spotted Bird of Havre, 25, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, driving under the influence and failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance after a caller reported a hit and run crash on Seventh Avenue Wednesday at 3:20 p.m.

Officers investigated a Wednesday 6:36 p.m. report of a domestic disturbance in progress on Ninth Avenue.

A summons was issued after a Wednesday 3:06 a.m. report of suspicious activity on Fifth Avenue, and an officer investigated suspicious activity at 3:10 a.m. on Fifth Avenue. No further details on the charges were provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's Office dispatch log reported no investigations, arrests made or summonses issued during the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday, and firefighters had a fire alarm at 12:11 a.m. today on the 100 Block of Second Street, that turned out to be a false alarm

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held six kittens between 7 and 27 weeks old, one male and two female 13-week-old kittens, one male 14-week-old kitten, six female cats and two male cats. One female cat was being held separately at the shelter.

The shelter also held a male husky-wire-haired pointing griffon dog, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female pit bull terrier-English bulldog and a male mixed-breed dog.

Births

A girl was born Tuesday, July 21, 2020, to Kathie and Luke Secor of Havre.
