Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Wednesday at 12:51 p.m. to speak with officers about a sexual or violent offender registry complaint.


A two-vehicle, non-injury crash involving a blue Ford Escape and a blue Pontiac was reported near Town Square Wednesday at 5:17 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Donald Garret Bear of Havre, 38, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting and on two Justice or City court warrants after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft Wednesday at 2:23 p.m.


Deputies investigated suspicious activity at a Box Elder establishment Wednesday at 7:36 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 1-week-old kittens of unknown gender, three male cats and four female cats.


The shelter also held a male Staffordshire bull terrier dog, two female mixed-breed dogs, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 7-month-old shepherd puppy.


A girl was born Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, to Keturah Walker and Jonathan Seaton of Havre.
