State and local COVID-19 update, Sept. 20, 2021

Hill County had one COVID-19-related death and 18 new cases, the Hill County Health Department reported Friday evening. The county had 149 active cases, 6 active hospitalizations and a total of 2,615 cases and 50 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department reported Friday evening being notified of 14 new cases, 81 active, no active hospitalizations listed, 1,072 total cases, 24 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Friday evening, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill county numbers, 7 new cases, 59 active, 1 active hospitalization, 982 total cases. It has had 8 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Friday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips county numbers, 4 new cases, 34 active, no active hospitalizations, 596 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County reported on the state update this morning, had 4 new cases, 24 active, 187 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 15 active, 574 total cases, 7 deaths.

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,619 new cases, 9,721 active cases, 358 hospitalizations and 1,887 deaths. The cumulative total for the state as 141,339 cases.

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
