Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a theft, forgery or fraud reported on Fourth Street at 2:16 p.m. Tuesday.

A water main break reported at 3:38 a.m. today on McKinley Avenue was referred to Havre Public Works.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Heidi Marie Laforge of Havre, 23, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge reported Tuesday at 4:39 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Tuesday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters responded with an engine with an ambulance crew in case fire suppression or extrication was needed at a two-vehicle crash on the 2300 Block of Highway 2 Northeast at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday. Emergency medical technicians assessed the five people involved in the crash, but all refused transport to the hospital.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats of unknown gender, five female cats, four male cats, and one male and one female 7-month-old kittens.

The shelter also held a male shepherd, a male 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, two male pit bull terriers, a male German shepherd, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 18-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female pit bull terrier.
