State and local COVID-19 update, Jan. 25, 2022

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 2,860 new cases, 15,067 active cases, 331 hospitalizations and 2,987 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 229,966 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Monday that 81 new cases were reported and 147 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 201 active cases in the county and 4,197 total cases. The county had 3 active hospitalizations and has had 71 deaths.

Havre Public Schools reported Monday 1 new case in a person associated with the district, and 14 more Monday were confirmed with COVID-19.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Monday that it was notified of 59 new cases and 98 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 168 active cases in the county and 1,876 total cases and 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported Monday new cases and 67 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 128 active cases, 2 active hospitalizations and 1,504 total cases The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Monday 32 new cases over the weekend through Monday and 59 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 124 active cases on the reservation, 1,017 total cases and no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 13 deaths

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 14 active, 331 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 4 new cases, 5 active, 871 total cases, 12 deaths.
