State and local COVID-19 update, Feb. 21, 2022

Hill County Health Department said in its update Friday that 7 new cases were reported and 12 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 69 active cases in the county, 1 active hospitalization, 4,732 total cases and the county has had 71 deaths

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Friday that it was notified of 6 new cases and 6 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 85 active cases in the county, 1 new hospitalization, 1 discharge from the hospital, 5 active hospitalizations, 2,305 total cases and the county has had 31 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported Friday 3 new cases and none met the criteria to be considered recovered with 52 active, no active hospitalizations and 1,564 total cases. The reservation has reported 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Friday 20 new cases and 21 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 42 active cases, 1 new hospitalization, 1 discharge from the hospital, 4 active hospitalizations and 1,282 total cases. The reservation has had 15 deaths.

The Montana state COVID tracking map including information for Chouteau and Liberty counties had not updated by print deadline this morning.
