Northern's Peyton Kehr earns Frontier accolades

The Frontier Conference women's season ended in dramatic fashion Tuesday night, with Rocky Mountain College beating Carroll College in the tournament championship. On Wednesday morning, the league related their Frontier All-Conference honors.

Montana State University-Northern's Peyton Kehr was named All-Conference for the second straight season. Kehr averaged 15 points per game for the Skylights on her way to Honorable Mention All-Conference honors. Northern's ShaAnn Danelson was also the Skylight's recipient of the Champions of Character Award.

Rocky Mountain College's Wes Keller was selected Coach of the Year. Rocky senior guard N'Dea Flye dominated the individual awards as she was selected Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.

Rocky guard Gracee Lekvold was selected Freshmen of the Year and University of Providence sophomore guard Brooklyn Harn was selected the 6th Player of the Year.

Former Havre Blue Pony star Dani Wagner was named First-Team All-Conference for the third year in a row, in what is her final season at Carroll.

2nd Team

Christine Denny, Sr., Carroll; Sienna Swannack, Sr., Carroll; Tavia Rooney, So., Montana Tech; Dani Urick, Sr., Montana Tech; Kloie Thatcher, Jr., RMC.

Honorable Mention

Peyton Kehr, Sr., MSU-Northern; Shiny Mack, Sr., Western, Shauna Bribiescas, Sr., RMC.
